Refused to Carry

Macon, June 24 -- Special -- Hannah Anderson lost her child in Vineville
by measles. She desired to ship the baby to Reed's station, but the
railroad authorities refused to receive it on the ground that the disease
was contagious. She brought it back to the city today, and it was buried
by Undertaker Clay. The case is rather unique, being the first of the
kind recently in Macon.
