Far Away from Friends
Thomasville, Ga. April 6 -- Special -- Rev. G. H. Hamilton, of Jefferson,
Ark, was buried this afternoon. He died in this city Monday night very
suddenly of congestion of the brain, far away from home and among
strangers. He was a Baptist minister and an ex-confederate soldier. In
the battle of New Hope Church, near Atlanta, he was badly wounded. Only
the undertaker and a couple of gentlemen followed him to his last home.
