Gunn Family Cemetery
Highway 41
Centerville, Houston County, Georgia

Gunn Family Cemetery is located on Highway 41 in Centerville, Houston County, Georgia. Those interred there are likely descendants of Daniel Gunn, a Revolutionary War soldier given a land grant for his service. He also had a general store on the same road. The cross road behind this cemetery (continuing north on Hwy 41) is named Gunn Road.

The land around this little family cemetery has been stripped, and the cemetery itself is in ruins. It's very sad to see, to say the least.

I transcribed what I could read from the stones I could piece together. I've also included many photos on this page, so please be sure to scroll past the transcriptions to view them.
